HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF ASBURY
The process of becoming a member of Asbury’s growing family involves four simple but significant steps. If you have any questions about this process, please contact us at OR complete the contact form below.
Step 1: DECLARATION
The prospective member declares his/her intention to join the Asbury family. Declaration can be done by emailing us, filling out the Contact Card, calling the office, or speaking with one of our staff persons or lay leaders.
Step 2: ASSIMILATION
We offer the Asbury 101 course to all who are looking to become members of our family. The Asbury 101 course is a class designed specifically for new members. The course if offered every fourth Saturday of each month.
Step 3: CONNECTION
At Asbury, it is more important to us that each person in this family is well connected to Christ and to a small group in the Church. Therefore, we want to help each person to first belong, then we can celebrate when they join.
Step 4: CELEBRATION
After the declaration, assimilation, and connection comes the Celebration. New additions to the fast growing Asbury family are celebrated every 2nd Sunday of the month, during all one or both of our worship experiences.
